Thread: What are the new item limits in houses?
If it's not a bug and it's not fixed asap I think it's time for architects, merchants and everyone else who needs to store items in their house to start a petition! Don't make our profession even more useless! And how come items on vendor count against the total number of items?!

There are no bugs, only exploits. Crafters were exploiting storage so they we could create large quantities of items such as houses, furnature and clothing in an effort to make money.
I knew having them ADD space to a house was a pipe dream because of their reluctance to pick up another RAID Array (A lot of Hard Drives for those not so techy). But to have them reduce it?! "Inconceviable!"
Looks like once my vendor is empty ill have to leave her empty. Turn the house into a "Display Shop" I didnt even get the last display item I wanted up because I couldent get any Bristly Hide.
There is no why anybody can run a nice looking shop this way.
Here I was thinking of picking up another building just to make a THIRD shop because I didnt have enough display room in the other two. There goes that idea.
its truly sad when i build a factory just to store goods in .. it can hold 100

Factory and house limits are bugs or things that where only supposed to be in test and some house made it into train....

You're joking, aren't you? So making a lot ofitems for sale is an exploit now? And I though it was what we're supposed to do as crafters. I make a bunch to put on vendor, then go to my harvesters or do some other business, and now what, no business for me because my vendor is empty? Now, I'm ok if there's some limit - although with $15 a month you would think they could afford some extra HDs or whatever they need - but house storing less than your backpack is ridiculous. And there's no way items on vendor should count against the house limit. Did you try to think about the implications? First, it makes the whole merchant class totally useless. Second, houses are pretty much useless for other crafters, and they're the only ones who really need housing. Why would they want it now if they can't even set up a vendor there? Finally, furniture sales being the only really profitable aspect of our profession is gone as well. Way to go, devs. Save some disk space, lose some customers.
i think along with needing to fix storage capacity in houses, they need to really fix who can drop stuff in the house. For phucks sake people, if i give my friend Admistrative rights, he should be able to drop his **edit** in my house, its just annoying as hell, he can pay the bills, create vendors and add people to list or take them off, but he cant drop anything in the house!?

How is the fact that I actually KEEP my resources and make items out of them an exploit?
Considering that I currently have 5 differnt types of copper, 6 different types of steel, multiple types of fiberplast and inert petrochemicals as well as ahuge amount of different kinds of hides, bone and meat, this is killing me. I chose not to sell off resources because I like to have a selection of them available for making items. I hit the 50 item limit on a small house with a SINGLE BACKPACK. How is this possible?
This is outrageous and needs to be changed. The previousl limits were fine. Why was thie needed when there are so many other things that DO need fixed/changed.
As I've said before, fix the bugs and quit messing with the stuff that works!!
My medium naboo house can only hold 100 items. I heard a small can only hold 50, so can a large only hold 150?
I'm a master architect and if I only dropped the factory crates that pa halls, large harvesters, syn cloths, etc... I can only drop 20. While I don't drop 20 of them I have at least 10. I have a backpack with hides in it, and it counts the resources inside the backpack. I have a vendor and it counts the items in my vendor. OMG this is horrible. My real room has over 1000 items at the least in it. Over 400 in just cd's like a whole house can't hold that much.
I hope this isn't what they wanted.
