Thread: Dayln: What server are you on?
I ask because we will almost assuredly (my guild & I) buy 10-20 of each large harvester (20 Heavy Mineral, 10 gas, 10 fusion, 10 chem, 5 water) for 90k/per. I do think that we should get a discount, as we are talking about over 40 harvesters here. Payment on delivery of each.
I'll gladly buy yours and make a 50k+ profit for no work. In fact we'll probably buy every single large item (Heavy extractors) and probably Medium /Large / Guild house you can make, depending on price. If I factor in my lack of harvester and factory costs my profits are astounding. I won't even need fusion generators!
Can you keep up w/ ten mixed units (harvesters) a day? I can sell at least that many, maybe more because I could drop my price to 130k and still make a killing. I mean 400k profit (10 per day @ 130k) - the cost of 1 vendor -1 Large vendor house (already owned)! 2.8 Million a week for nothing more than 10 minutes of time!

You know.. He's kinda like a small child... if you would just ignore him, he would go away... but if you keep giving him attention he's going to keep being annoying.
We all heard everything Dayln has to say.. so lets let him go back to making his 2 medium harvester sales a day at stupid prices and forget about his existance already.

God no mate. If he is actually crazy enough to sell for those prices, we'll probably buy everyone he can make just so we can sell higher and concentrate on mining only for our weapon/armorsmith. It's the difference between 30 harvesters and maybe 10 a week.
Besides how can I pass up 2.8mil a week for about ~70min work total. If he's just a gas bag, well I've lost nothing, but he has. He loses any credibility in-game. I've burned out 4 previous architect suppliers who didn't believe I could sell that many at those "insane prices". One poor schmuck was selling me heavies for 73k each (discount because he had guaranteed sales). He lasted about 14 days. Haven't seen that char on since.
Pity, I nearly doubled my money every day (67k profit/per). Then I had to go and place harvesters again, et al. How inconsiderate of him to stop playing.
So if Dayln here is loopy enough, I'll gladly burn him into the ground with our vendor stores, we can almost never get enough product! Even at the "insane price" of 140k!
Lucifer, I totally agree that if he's willing to sell at thoes prices, I'd buy em into the ground and sell for 2x the profit while I just sit and collect resources for myself all day. When he finally burns out, take my resources I saved and back to work heh.
However, I am getting tired of what he usually responds with, and we all known he won't take your offer anyway
My suggestion, Ignore Dalyn. He/she has admitted to only playing 2-3 hours a day. He/she has admitted to harvesting own resources. He/she admitted to using mostly medium harvesters and a couple heavies.
With those three pieces of information. It becomes obvious he/she does not make more thn 1-2 structures a day... and those are small houses. There is little way that they could keep up with much higher at the amount of time being played, and with (i'd venture a guess" of 15 harvesters. 2-3 hours a day will not allow harveseting from 15+ harvesters AND making more than 1-2 strucutres AND delivering said structures.
#1 I am not ready to fill that kind of order, however I do act as a wholeseller for 2 archetects on my server, we get along fine.
#2Most of my sales ( but not all ) are direct to customers and I know they are customers because I have visited them in the houses I built for them, how many of you do that?
#3 I prefer to not give out my character name and server as what I have to say is the truth, and kids hate the truth andI dont need a bunch of harassment in-game.
Things I have observed about Dayln:
On one of his earlier posts he said he is on Kauri
He posts in Naritus.
80% of his postsmention business being a pvp war.
He loves Walmart and mentions them frequently.
He very rarely posts anything new. Most post are identicle to previous posts. word for word
He posts about 11 times on day per average
He isn't a master yet but by his bravado he has sold enough and made enough to have exp to be a master 10 times over.
His prices are about the same as everyone elses but he likes to make it sound that eveyone is too high and his are perfect.
He won't disclose his server or name on the server even though he is the most popular and loved architect on his server.
He is old
In about 80% of the post he makes, he is disagreeing with the poster. It is his mission to be the devils advocate.
In conclusion, you can learn alot about a person by reading his past posts.

1) You're not ready to fill that kind of order? Well lad let me tell you, then you aren't selling for enough. How can I afford 30 heavy harvesters (plus the fusions to run them) and have the motivation to maintain them? I sell for enough that I don't care about the time I'm not spending on my soldier. As a wholesale warehouse myself, my difficulty is finding enough crazies to sell for 90k~100k. Mind you that I am a college student who works full time, so if I'm lucky I get about 90 minutes after study time. That's if I'm lucky. On big lab projects (Physics major) I'm lucky to get 15 minutes.
2) I know all my buyers whom purchase from me personally. Yes I do that, but the vendor allows me to sell much more and satisfy more customers. People know that when they hit my vendor, I have a good chance of having what they want in stock. I do that by keeping the motivation to see those harvesters.
3) You could have Private Messaged me. I unfortunately now must categorize you with the guy on my server who promises heavy mineral harvesters at 85k~100k and then runs away when you place an order. The irritation here is that players then go "I saw so and so selling them for XXk, you're a ripoff." They usually come back meekly when I tell them to go buy from so and so and he/she/it never delivers.
4) Calling other people "kids" is hardly a way to get them to see your viewpoint. If anything it is generally considered a "troll" behaviour on the net. Troll's are not highly respected. Of course you may not care. Then again if you are trying to be persuasive you should. Unfortunately that quandary places you at best on the lower end of respectability.
