I scanned the first few pages as best I could for teh answer but didnt find it...

I son't understand how to calculate how much energy my harvester will need. It doesn't give me a clear and understandible readout like the money maintinence readout does. I put in 100 units of wind energy, and the energy status said :4 ..... :4? does that mean 4 hours? 4 minutes?

I put in 3000 and now it says 2:3 .....

is that 2 days 3 hours?

Can anyone help me out a bit?

And why isn't the energy read-out as idiot proof as the money read-out? Gah i hate being confused

Yep you got it right.

The number before the semicolon is the days, and the number after is the hours.

I don't think tha'ts true. How else could I have 1:53? I have, on my site, a table that shows the exact amount of power consumed per day. You're welcome to use it if you like.

It's in the buildings section under architectural items.

The way it works is as follows:

1:20 where you take the number before the colon and times it by 60 and then add it to the number after the colon and you will have the total number on hours.

The power rating is power per hour. Just multiply the number by 24. For instance Mediums are 50 X 24 = 1200 power per day.
