Thread: Structure exp how is it calculated ?
Hi folks,
Bare with me im new to the Architect proff
I was just wonder if any know the formula on how much structure exp you get from making an item is ? From medical carfting i know its related to number or resources, but with the enormous amount of resources we use i don't quite believe it is 2 exp / resource for structure exp now is it ?
Anyone care to share som light on how this is calculated so i know what is best to make to get exp ?
I don't know the exact formula but i DO know you get around 1050 exp for a crafting station which uses 450 metal resources.
So it seems to be around 2exp per unit by that reasoning. /shrug
2 exp per resource used in any combine with your structure and furniture tool.
That is the formula, no matter how you do it, its what you will get.
As far as "Whats the fastest way to get exp", dont even think for asecond it is cheap to "grind" up the path for exp in this profession. About the only thing you could "grind" with, would be Small Structure Storage mods, and all you would need is tons and tons of crappy steel, and 2 clicks to make the item.
Otherwise, I would highly suggest, if you are just looking for exp, grind Structural modules, and then build them into walls, and keep them. You wont need or be able to store 500 Small Structure mods, but structural modules you will, so never....NEVER practice or destroy for exp.
If you are going to be a good architect, you couldnt possibly make enough stuff that you wont need.
My quick and dirty way to grind up exp is to find a spot to mine crappy steel and put 2 harvestors there. Come back next day and youll have about 5-6k of steel. Make crafting stations with no add ons and practice and you will make about 11k exp from it which is about 1/5 of a level if you just made Architect.
If you have cash to burn its a good way of finishing off a level.
