SORRY but im really pissed off. gotta vent somewhere

Architect is the lowest profit margin crafter. but have the HIGHEST overhead.
You raised crit fails again over the past week at some point.. Ive failed 50% of the time on large
items like factories and today 2 fusion harvs in a row.. Ive lost money.. and resources.. cleaned me out.
You have made a fun profession a stressful one.. I get enough of that on my day job.

I just would like to take this monemt to say.. Up yours. you ignore us.. so just ignore that too.

and yes, I hear all of you about to say.. "so quit.." or " I have lots of fun" dont bother.. im just real pissed off about this crap.. its like we dont even exist to them as a profession. Even DE's have gotten some attention

Use a crafting macro for gods sake. Its been reported over an over that using the macro bypasses the critical failures.

I use 2 macros.

First macro.

/ui action toolbarSlot**; /select ##;

(** = the toolbar slot you have placed your crafting tool in. ## = the number of the draft schematic you wish to use.)(You will have to search because its different depending on your currently available skills, whether or not your at crafting station and which tool you use.)(Top toolbar slots run from 00 to 11 botton from 12 to 23.)

Second macro.

/nextcraftingstage; /nextcraftingstage; /nextcraftingstage; /createprototype;

(Use the first macro to open the tool and schematic you wish to use.) (Place the resources in the appropriate slots.) (press the second macro.)

Thats it ....... no more critical failures... Well actually they still happen but you don't recieve the message and you still get the item.

If your industrious and need to make alot of a particular item you can link/loop the macros to turn yourself intoa factory.

/ui actiontoolbarSlot00; (Place your first crafting tool in this slot.)

/select ##;

/pause 25;

/nextcraftingstage;

/nextcraftingstage;

/nextcraftingstage;

/createprototype;

/pause 5

/ui actiontoolbarSlot01; (Place your second crafting tool in this slot.)

/select##;

/pause 25;

/nextcraftingstage;

/nextcraftingstage;

/nextcraftingstage;

/createprototype;

/pause 5;

/ui action toolbarslot03; (place the actual macro here and it will loop continously until you move the button from this slot)

Once you press the macro it will open the first tool and the schematic you chose and then wait 25 secodns for you to place the resources. Then it will create the item and pause for 5 seconds. After this it will open the second tool to the schematic you have selected where you can put the resources in ater which it will create the item pause for 5 seconds then start the macro over again ..... all you have to do is once every 30 seconds add the resources to thier appropriate slots. thats it the macro handles the rest.

Speedy crafting, less carpal tunnel and no critical failures.. I consider it an oversight on their part that this works but until they fix the crit system to soemthign more logical this is a good workaround.

using a crafting macro does -not- bypass critical failure. Look carefully at your every combine next time and you will notice you still critical fail. You just don't see the message.

...... but you do get the item still. At least I have been. because the counter appeared on the tool and then the item appeared in my inventory.

Cyberthugg I have critical failured plenty of times using that macro. I've made over 7000 blaster-rifle barrels and have lost plenty to critical failures. Correct in that it doesn't say you critical failed, but your crafting tool never gets the time count down.

I wish people would STOPposting that macros eliminate crit failures! They DO NOT! Quit posting wrong info!

I agree. I tried this macro. tested it with 2 small houses

House #1
All parts came out using the macro except I failed on one struct mod. it ate the resources and nothing came out. no countdown etc.. Used macro on final combine. House deed came out ok.

House #2
All the parts came out ok. no fails.. but the final combine I pressed the macro.. It ate everything.. No countdown- no house..

So.. correct.. It only bypasses experimentation and naming the item and any fail messages.
