I have seen cool new house signs which sit on the porch, how does one get these ?

Not sure of the level required, but the ability to put up the alternate signs is based on Business/Merchant skill. You can modify the sign style as building Admin, you do not need to be owner, but only the owner can change the text of the sign.

Merchant, Additional Vendor level 2 gets you the first sign.

It's the management line under Merchant. You get a new sign at each level.

Of course, if you have a generic house, your lovely sign could end up floating out in the middle of nowhere.

nope i geuss they fixed that cause all the generics in my area have the new signs now and they work well
