i was shaking over that same question for days when preparing to move my guild.....

Redeeding your guild hall will not disband your guild, when you place it back down everything will be normal

I think at some point early in the game redeeding would disband it but not anymore

From my experience...

Your guild will still exist (in fact, it will continue to exist when you destroy the structure). When you place it again, all guild information will still be in place, but the structure information (e.g. name) will have to be reset.

Also, your guild leader will still be in place. We picked up our hall, and had a different character place it. The original character was then deleted .... our guild leader has been 'null' for almost three weeks.
