Hi all

Im not a architect myself, but being a miner I buy plenty from your class. There is a post asking what rewards people would like for quest etc etc. Well I going over things they could add for all classes and I forgot to add for architects. Later I added the following message. Im posting it here, for you all to look at and maybe try to get your correspondant to add to your list of wants for next time. I really think it sucks no decay on building so there isnt much of a market for architects at some point. However, the following ideas might help to create more of a market for building.

And for architects, add something that keeps them in business, since nothing they create has decay there is only so many building, furnitures crafting stations people will need. So maybe figure out a way to add schematics for player vehicles to the architect line. or schematics on crafting stations personal crafting stations that offer only amazing successes with minimal failures. Or schematics on building that take up smaller amounts of lots then current building.New business buildings designs schematics or schematics for gardens and external building enhancements like fences, billboards for advertiments green houses, Labs that Bio Engineers need to make better creatures, Bakery that Chefs need for better food. Basically adding building that offer specific crafting bonuses. Armory, Tailor Factory.. And Shops that really look like shops, not just these basic homes and building that people turn into home/shops or storage locations, even building that are storage facilities which offer 500 storage cap. (Allow experimentation to mean something in architecture: better design, larger, smaller, coloring for buildings, this is probably something that goes in the architect forms) Offer Museums which people can put creatures in or what ever.

Thanks and Good Luck

I'd like architects to be able to build verandas, fountains, 'gardens' and other outdoors property improvements. I've seen models for these things in game already, so they wouldn't have to do too much additional work to make them available to architects. I would gladly pay to have a veranda to set up next to the lake where my house it; i'd even be happy to give up one of my precious land lots for it.

Also there is a decay poll which gave me the idea, instead of decay why cant architects just be paid a percentage of maintenence onevery building they create.

example small harvester cost 720 cash per day to maintain for havesting why cant the creator of said harvester get paid.5 credits per day of that cash someone is paying for maintenence.

they put out 7000 small harvesters that are being USED. well they get 35000 a day from the maintenence of those harvesters.

Just a thought.

It's been suggested. I doubt they'll ever consider implementing anything like this, because then Architects would become the onlyprofession who could earn a steady cash flow for doing absolutely nothing. Sure, you have to do the work initially, but after you've sold some structures, you could go play on another server for a month, and come back to find your bank account soaring. Not a good idea.

Plus, it would drop the prices of structures even further as people try to push their products onto the market for the free money.
