I wanted to get a Guild hall, but I have a few questions:

1. I have 27000 Isem, can I grab a different kind of ore to make up the difference? Or does it all have to be the same for the building?

2. Do I have to belong to a PA or anything to own one? Or can a solo player just throw it up?

3. How much is the maintenence costs?

4. How many lots does it take up?

Thanks

7RAPTOR7,

Yes, you can use a different kind of ore to finish the lot. However, a single stack of all one type runs through the factory a lot easier. Hand clicking bricks is tedious and running 2 seperate factory brick runs is just a slight hassle.

You do not need to belong to a PA to build the hall. Anyone can do it.

I do not know the maintenence of a PA hall. I just build them, I do not own one myself.

A PA Hall takes a staggering 9 of your 10 lots. So be sure to have 9 available before placing it.

I have seen 3200 credits per day for a maintenance fee. Don't know if that is right, but sounds in the ball park. I can't imagine why you would want a pa hall if you aren't going to have a PA. The only thing I think you can do in a PA hall you couldn't do in a house is have a bank.

I have also seen that PA halls on different planets have different lot amounts. Some are 7 and some are 9.

Thanks Xolanne.

Mkappus, the reason I want to use it as a house is because of the big sunken room in the center, and the shiny floors. And it just looks a lot nicer.

I live on Naboo, I've hada small, medium, and now a large house. The Large house is nice and big, but it's chopped up into small bedrooms. The main room where I spend most of the time has a staircase running up the middle, and it's really not that big at all. I figure if I get a Guild Hall, I can have a nice big room to put all my furniture in, and use the other rooms for storage and whatever.

There's also too much red in the Naboo houses.

Heya Xolanne. Congrats on master architect, I had no idea you already got it. It's good to see our humble planet already has one! See you ingame.

I have some questions on this topic as well.

As far as dropping items such as furniture or crates, can only the owner of the PA hall do it, or can admins put stuff in.

As far as moving furniture, can admins move furniture in a PA, I know they can't in houses?

How much storage is in a PA hall?

Does the owner of the PA hall need to have business 3 to place a vendor or can an admin with business 3 place a vender?

I have just got a guildhall. What a lot of work that was. I am ready to start my guild. Anyhow I have a few questions for those in the know. I can find very little regarding this on the boards. Any constructive help is appreciated.

1. If you have a hall are you required to start a guild? Any problems if you don't?
2. If you start a guild you must have 5 members in 5 days. I know this. However I've heard if you don't have 5 members at the end of 5 days your hall goes poof. Is this true?
3. If it is true what if you have more than 5 then at a later point drop below 5 members?
4. How many items will a guildhall hold?
5. Is there any websites or links that have the SWG rules for guilds laid out in detail?
6. Any other problems you have had that would help me as I start?

Thank you in advance for your comments. See ya in game.

I got on chat with a CSR and here is the chat:

You have been connected to CSR Patrick A..

CSR Patrick A.: Hello Michael, Thank you for contacting Sony Online Entertainment. One moment please, while I read your question. Thank You!

Michael Shipler: Thank you

CSR Patrick A.: You do not need to start a guild in order to keep a guild hall.

CSR Patrick A.: You can use it as a regular house.

Michael Shipler: Ok

CSR Patrick A.: Item limit is 250.

Michael Shipler: 250. Good

CSR Patrick A.: So if you disband the guild, the house stays.

Michael Shipler: So if the guild goes below 5 or never reaches 5 the hall will not dissaper?

CSR Patrick A.: No it will not.

Michael Shipler: Thats good to know. I sign of relief

Michael Shipler: any game guides for SWG pa rules?

CSR Patrick A.: No unfortunately not from us.

Michael Shipler: Ok

Michael Shipler: will the guild auto disband when below 5 members?

CSR Patrick A.: That I'm not sure.

CSR Patrick A.: You may want to send in an in-game ticket for.

CSR Patrick A.: Or maybe just ask players in-game.

Michael Shipler: If I disband or auto disband the guild can I start another?

CSR Patrick A.: Yes.

Michael Shipler: Thank you. You have been much help!

CSR Patrick A.: Ok Michael, Is there anything else I can help you with today?

Michael Shipler: Not I can think of. Thanks.

Michael Shipler: Have a good day!

CSR Patrick A.: Ok Michael, Thank you for visiting our SOE Chat line. Take care and have a Good Day!

I have a friend who is a guild of one, so you can have less than 5 members.

What if you build a PA -hall.. get your buddies together and form the PA... THEN destroy the PA (ie revert it to deed form) will the PA continue to exist? i know it does for a little while (we managed to move the PA offplanet ).. but will it be permanent?
