Architect Archive

Some of you may have seen my thread called <a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Development&message.id=410321"target=blank>"Art Team: What Women Want"</a>. Ood_Bnar (Jake Rodgers, SWG Art Director) asked me if I would be willing to summarize the contents of the (now 14-page) thread for him and I did so and sent it to him a couple of weeks ago.

I wanted to share the section relevant to architects. Please note that this is not my personal wish list but a compilation of many wish lists. It does of course include some of my wish list items Who knows what will be approved, and what they will have time to do if approved. Anyway here is the Architect section:

Home Decor

·Ability to paint walls – Architect skill, also change the theme inside the Naboo house from red to other colors (so hard to match furniture to red)

·Decorative objects – Rugs (square, rectangle, oval), sculptures, decorative mirrors, paintings, bowls, vases, objects now present in NPC buildings, more plants and trees, timepieces

·Ability to move objects on z axis – Pretty please; Up and down in space

·Ability to drop items on tables

·Ability to store items in chests, armoires, etc. – Even if it does not provide more storage slots

·Unique look for Corellian homes

·Ability to place objects on balcony, roof terrace, front porch

·Windows that let you look outside

·Ability to have screenshots turned into paintings for your home

·Fountains – Big ones with statues in them for player cities; Small ones for inside the home

·Lamps don’t currently emit light

·Better ambient lighting in homes – Medium Naboo’s big central room in particular is VERY dark, very problematic for displaying tailor wares

·Ability for architects to dye furniture & flowers

·Ability to lie on beds - And lounge on red love seat

·Ability for more than one person to sit on a couch/lie on a bed

·Functional furniture - Oven (food crafting station), Sewing machine (clothes crafting station)

·Exterior furniture – Lawn chairs, patio tables, benches, plants, lights

·Gardens – Little plot of land in front of house to plant & grow flowers (1 lot)

·Work-related furniture – Fancy desks, leather chairs, desk accessories, lab tables w/ bunsen burners, workbenches w/ clamps and vices
