Just curious to see what you guys are thinking about charging for all the new buildings coming out.

2 credits per resource?

That is all Architect items are worth. Just ask anyone.

Resources cost me on average 0.8 cpu. Thats factoring in the cost of relocating (which i rarely do), energy costs and good old maintenance.

I very rarely buy off the bazz.

I find a rough guide to selling prices is 8k per wall.

Well I just was figuring that he was wondering what a good comparison was to the rest of the galaxy. Hence I listed my doctor resource sale price, and weaponsmith sale price, both of which I base all my arch sale price off of, and if people say its too much I walk away, others will pay. If they continue to nag me about it, I explain how I got the price, then the usually shut up because they don't want to pay that much, but now they see there is logic to my pricing and don't have anything constructive to say.

i harvest myself what i can, but when i need an extra bit of steel / ore 3cr per unit is around the cheapest i find on valcyn there are people who sell it cheaper in bulk if you search around, but i tend not to have the time for this , but there is 2 customers who come in for harvesters now and again and sometimes trade me in iron/ steel / copper for my harvesters at a very good exchange (Like a harvester cost 100k, he gives me 100k units of something).

I will charge mostly 3 cr per unit of resource used on structures, and add an extra amount on harvesters for the fact they are money makers for the owner, plus a slight extra on well experimented harvesters.

player city structures i am making for myself so if other people want them its more a case of if i have time, rather than a price, since i am going to be probably very busy with my own city the first few weeks

I figure my prices at 3cr per resource + a 20% building Fee. It was pretty standard for me to be able to buy resources off the bazaar at 3cr per, but lately it seems the resource people have been getting greedy, and instead of seeing 1k r / 3k cr I'm seeing 700 r / 3k cr... So maybe I'll have to refigure.

I pay 2-2.5 generally for resources from miners in bulk. Fortunately, I can often turn around and sell premium resources at a profit (and I'm not talking about the bazaar, which I avoid like the plague. I mean 200k at 7cpu). Beyond that, I sell structures at 3cpu bare minimum, and more than that typically. When we get into PA halls, we're talking more of a markup. They go between 350-400k per. High experimented harvesters also tend to go for a good chunk of change.. 10's going for 200k on my server. However, you always hear that someone bought 10 heavy minerals at 10 extraction for 70k each. I'm still waiting on the name so I can purchase 100 of them.*wink*

Player city structures, being large, and often requiring power cores from factories (to date, still hand-loaded components in the factory since structures are still broken, and 3 identical subcomps, each with a number of different resources), should be going for a premium. 3cpu is a waste of time. I expect that after we build my city (a sizeable thing to do.. I mean really look at the resource lists for this stuff.. I have 2000 bricks, 200 genny turbines, 800 sm. structure storage and 300 large.. etc, etc waiting for the task), I'll be making structures at rates comparable to PA halls in terms of cpu. Anything else wouldn't be worth the effort, really.

And remember, you're not trying to sell a building to a person. You're trying to sell it to a taxed city.

thanks for the comparison Trean and it also shows something we have been trying to remedy, our prices for finished product that at min (3 credits per some Arch sell there finished products at) is laughed at and regarded as over priced.
