Thread: Why can't crates of structure modules be used in to make crates of wall units?
For some reason, this is bugged, so hope for the best and maybe the devs will have it fixed in the next updates.
I personnaly gave up on crafting walls in a factory. I takes me more time putting the structural module in the factory than crafting the walls myself
lol... I've been an architect since beta. They've been saying its gonna be fixed for a LONG time. heh
Ah well, expect nothing, and be extatic when they actually do fix it. ![]()

All well and good unless you are making Fusion Generators. They require identical wall units. A real pain, I Tell ya!

Hi,
Fusions, as well as ALL other Structures, dont need factory walls. Since they changed this because of the factory bug (they were eating components) it was not changed back (which I would love to have it changed back).
It is correct that all Heavy Structures once needed factory-made walls. But at the moment, NOTHING needs them.
However, I would prefer to have walls in crates than 3k of structural modules in crates.
Read ya.
The bright side of this is that you can use ANYstructure modules when having a factory make a final product. I have only tried it with medium mineral harvs for far, but the advantage here is that you dont need to remake your schematic every time the ore shifts. As long as you create a decent stock of the other components, you can keep using the same schem. Im going to try this with factory walls today, but I dont see any reason why it shouldnt work.
