Hi everyone,

I am having trouble being able to Experiment on my items when crafting them. I am currently a 0/1/3/1 arch and have a pretty good (I think) crafting tool (12.90) and a pretty good crafting station (+42.90). When I craft items, standing right in front of the crafting station, it is not giving me the option the experiment at all. I can not think of what I may be doing wrong. Any suggestions?

I used to have a master-arch char. in the past, but can't remember what I was doing differently.. Also, this may help... when crafting, it tells me that an item is a "great success", etc. but it doesn not give me a % rating like I remember it giving in the past....

The crafting tool and crafting station need to match, I think. That is, use the structure tool by the structure station.

Also, some items don't provide for experimentation.

What are you trying to make?

I am using a Struct tool with a Struct Crafting station.

I crafted: 2 Gen turbines, a Manuf. Mech. a Struture storage module and a food factory

Only the food factory let me expireiment at all... Strange..

Yep - none of those other things provide for experimentation, so it's not you.

Yep, only the factory can be experimented on, some of the sub-components are like that now, since they do not contribute (apparently) to the final construction quality.
