The screen says 50 per hour, and yet the way I calculated it, it's actually taking 100.This is on my BER 10 mediums, does power consumption increase with BER. And does it say the actual power consumption anywhere?

I've had an odd situation where I put enough power for 4 days in a personal mineral extractor and 2 days later I'm out. Haven't really done anyexperimenting and recording on the situation since it's only one of the problems I'm having at the moment. So I just dumped more power in and went about my regular routine.

Think I'll check it out more throughly this upcoming week and post what I find.

Disregard the power display, it's bugged. This has been brought up many times. Guys are coming to their harvestors with it having zero power (on the display) yet the machine is still running. This bug is only affecting the display of power remaining, not the actuall consumption of power. I'd keep track of how much power you place in and how long you know it's supposed to last. Try this: turn harvestor on, then off, then load up the status screen again. You should see the corrected rate and how much power is remaining. If not, and you know you placed enough power in it and know when it's going to end, don't deposit any more power till that time comes. Until they fix this bug, we're stuck jotting down dates and times when we placed power in instead of having the harvestor display correct information for us.

So uh, I'm confused. I started with 5000 power in there, and a little under 24 hours later I looked and it said there was 2889 left, which seems pretty consistent with 100/hour. Is this the correct rate or is my harv fubared

Shut the harvester off, then turn it on again, and see if the displayed remaining power stays the same.

I'm having the same problem with my BER 10 mediums on Starsider. 4 of my 5 currently operating harvesters are consuming power at double the normal rate. 1 is working properly and I don't know why.

It's just a display bug. Your harvester really has and is using the correct amount of power. To (temporarily) correct the display bug, turn the harvester off then back on again - you'll see the "missing" power show up again.

I thought is was just a display bug, too - but I found out the hard way that if you redeed while the display is messed up, you lose your power. Not a huge deal, but if you tend to dump mucho power into your heavies and forget about it, and then redeed.......... 0 power next time you place it I lost about 100k power last night to this part of the "display" bug. I have been told there are NUMEROUS other threads within this forum discussing all of the gnarly details if you feel inclined to use the search engine and read through them all.

many of times have i put48hours in maint and power..into my harvestors...i come back in 24hours...to find all power gone (whether this is bug or not so be it) and 1/2 maint..but almost 1/2 of the resource i should have had..if its going at 4.0 and max is 5.0....so thats 400units per hour...that should be around 9600units..but i only have 2400..after 24hours and other harvestor sometimes have 6Kunits some have had900 units after 24hours.I dont get it? For someone like me who uses his own resources i dont sell or make money..losing that power and maint is hard on me....is there and explanation for this.
