Thread: Legacy Harvester Question
I know before experimentation was changed so it had an affect many of you made harvestors out of low-quality materials. And some of you made harvs out of high quality materials believing that when experimentation was changed it'd make a difference.
So did it? When the change was made did those who made their harvestors out of high quality materials see an immediate difference? Or did it require you to build them entirely from scratch to start getting higher numbers?
Thanks.
Which fix? The fusion ratingor upgrading old harvesters?
Based on total guesswork (!), I'm 99.9% sure the ratings on old harvesters will never be upgraded unless you've yet to place an ancient deed that's been in storage unusedsince the patchages back. I'm still running some 7-rated heavies myself - guess I "experimented" the wrong thing!
As for the fusions, that's much less clear but I'm pretty sure they'll leave them as they stand. At the end of the day, a 14-rating pulls in a huge amount of material. With the addition of the"P/E" ratingon radioactives(making them effectively worth almost double what they were), most users are already pulling in the equivelantof the power that would be mined by a 26-rated machine.
I'm running four pre-patch 16-rated fusions and that powers 30+ medium and heavy harvesters 24/7 withplenty to spare. Therefore I'd suggest (in a quiet voice!) that even the current 14-rating is too high. ![]()
