The first three types of vehicle are actually under the 4th box in the engineering tree (unless that changed on test very recently). As for more advanced vehicles when they're added, who knows?

But I'd guess it's very unlikelythat it will end up under the architect skill (apart from perhaps a component or two) - after all, would you ask your local bricklayer to make you a car?

Droid Engineer seems to be the profession with the shortest straw - makes perfect sense (in role-playingterms) for them to get a boost via vehicle-making skillslater on.

Yes, the three starting vehicles are under Master Artisan. There is speculation that there will eventually be a new Elite profession someday (the mythical Vehicle Engineer), but that is only speculation.
