It's not really worth anything, since it provides functionality no one really uses. It enables you to have access to more schematics without either need a public or a private crafting station. If it would actually *lower* the complexity of the schematics you use, it would be a very useful thing to have (reduce factory times on schematics, reduce time taken to construct things in crafting tool, etc, especially the reduced factory time would be extremely handy).

But it seems not to do that, though I haven't tested it myself, so all this information is really hearsay
