Sorry, I have another new to architect question. How do you determine the storage capacity of a factory. I tried making one and got a critical fail and ended up with a storage capacity of 1500. So how do you determine how many items it will hold? Thanks.

The expderimentation on factories doesn't appear to effect anything. Factories hold up to 100 items in either the input or output hoppers.

There is a bug where factories spit out an error during a manfuacturing run if they get too full. Some people thing that error happens less frequenty if the storage rating on factories is experimented higher. I don't know for sure if thats true, but it is a theory at least.

i have never been able to have 100 / 100 in a factory. I usually max out the input when trying to make heavy minerals since the omus are singles and when i approach 80 items in the output hopper is when i get an internal error....this is an experimented up factory but i'm not in and know for sure what the storage rating is.
