... to master the Jedi crafting tree as an Architect!!!
Insane isn't it?
Here is the math:
FSxp needed for novice jedi crafting: 50000
FSxp needed for one branch in jedi crafting: 175000 + 250000 + 350000 + 450000 = 1225000
Total FSxp needed (4 branches + novice) = 4950000
Structure xp needed is (100 times FS xp!!!) = 495000000
Gungan head statue gives 5250 structure xp (in practice mode):
That makes a total for 495000000 / 5250 = 93429 statues!
And a total of 93429 * 3000 = 280287000 resources!!! (Yes 280 million!!!)
I don't know about you, but I for one am NOT gonna do this. No jedi for me. These numbers are INSANE.

We have to have some professions that you can't just grind in a week. Well... In Architect's case it only took a friend2hrsto master architect.

The conversion has been up for 3-4 days on the Test Center. During that period they have already had 2 sets of conversion ratios and I suspect we'll see several more before this goes live.
I think it will be tough to come up with ratios for XP conversion that are "fair". For example, because "structure crafting" XP (architect) is *so* easy to get if you are willing to spend the credits (just grind statues), it's clear that they will have to have fairly high conversation ratios for it. Yet most actual "practicing" architects probably make 90+% of their products via a factory and get very little crafting xp in the course just "being" an architect. I suspect the same type of thing may be true for other elite crafting professions. So if my architect decides to do a quest or two to get some crafting bonuses, it may be that some of her "banked" crafting xp will get her something, but unless she decides to flush a few thousand statues worth of resources down the drain, she will likely not get many boxes in the following months. OTOH there are other types of XP that she has and/or could get that would allow her to purchase boxes also.

I wont makewalls by hand. But all harvesters are hand made, except medium minerals.

The ratio is currently 30:1. I can see exactly why the devs did this, as we all know architect xp is the easiest to come by, they made it worth the least in the conversion.

gungan head statues.... smungan haed statues.....
I was about 1/3 the way through stocking building deeds on my vendor, when I capped on crafting xp. Just keeping a successful full of city structures will keep you going well, no need to waist money and material on gungan head statues....
