With the demand for pictures out there, why not get more personal. Let the Image Designers 'take a picture' and provide that to the customer who then can take it to the Architect to 'create'. That way more pictures are available for those who want them and ID's have a hand in making something lasting.

Nice idea.
It might be too hard for them to store all the possible graphic images that this would require.

I agree, it might take up a lot of space, server side and client...
I like the idea though, I think its great! I'm sure our SOE devs can think of some way to implement it...if they set their minds to it. I'd suggest this idea to the ID and Architect/Artisan correspondants

Maybe something that could be downloaded "on demand" by the viewer.
Otherwise, every single one of these things would have to be stored server side and downloaded by every client.
However, if the viewer of it clicked a "view" option, it could be downloaded and cached to that client only.
Then again, that's a LOT of custom data flying around and just might not be feasable.

Every single one of those images would have to be stored server side forever. Think about it - if you have a portrait of yourself painted and you hang it on the wall of your house, you want everyone entering your house to see it.
I cannot imagine them ever implementing this.

A mirror where you could see yourself would be cool, tho.
Of course that opens a whole other can of worms for dealing with reflections.
