Architect Archive

Ok i know nothing about styles or types of houses. I don't want to get scammed either. So my questions are the following:

1. Is there a particular house/style for Lok?

2.Can any architecht make them?

3. What do I look for on the deed to make sure i am getting what i want when i trade?

4. Generic house vs a Lok house.. what is the difference if such a thing exists

5. What would be a fair cost?

6. Setiing up a house what do i do?

7.. anything else i should know?

I'm no Master Architect yet, but I don't think there are any Lok-specific homes yet. You will probably need to get what's called a Generic Planet House, and there are different styles. Don't let the name fool you, I actually prefer the Generic design to the Naboo, Corellia or Tatooine ones.

Sorry, I missed a couple of your questions there.

2. The Architect making them must of course have the approriate Housing skill level.

3. Examine the deed and read the description, pretty self-explanatory here.

5. Costs will range anywhere from 10k to 25k depending on the Architect and what planet you're on. 15k is about average.

6. To set up a house, get in a buildable area and select Use on the deed from your inventory. You will get an overhead map where you can move the build location around. Green means go....any other color, and you can't place the house there. Experiment until you find a spot you like, but the house can always be pulled and redeeded later if you want a change in location. Press escape to quit back to your inventory without dropping the house, and page up/ page down keys to rotate the house.
