Thread: Can't build Power Core Units with a Factory

I crafted 10 Generator Turbines, 10 Power Conditioners, and 10 Energy Distributors. I created a manufacturing schematic and drop everything into my factory along with plenty enough raw resources of the required type. I start the factory and after a few minutes it eats only the raw resources and none of the components while not producing a single Power Core Unit. Do the turbines, conditioners, and distributors need to be factory made also? If so, why?? It isn't a requirement of the power core unit to have factory made items. Even still, I can factory make 5 structural modules and hand make the other 5, toss them into a factory and have it produce a wall module which would be the same concept!

All the subcomponents MUST be made in a factory too and one of each muct go into the schematic for the power core.

It works fine if you do this. One caveat though.... Always make at least 5 power cores... it seems to not work if you make fewer than that

Not sure if it was intended in this way but here is the way I had thought about it.

You make a scematic based on certain components. A person can't make a gun the same each time if the barrel is a little bit longer or a little bit wider. they need to be exactly the same. The factory can't produce exact copies of a power core unless it has exactly the same materials each time. The only way for 2 things to be exactly the same is use the same resources and get the same %'s on the experiments which isn't possible with hand crafting.
