Thread: How to operate a factory? A Noob question....
Oh Boy ... This is sure a Noob question ... Flame away but I am very serious ... How do you operate a factory?
I created a factory deed, a schematic of the item I want to build, carried all the right resources and then build my factory. I can not see how I add the schematic or resources to make the baby work.
Does it have anything to do with "containers"? If so, where does one find said containers?
Any help with this question will be greatly appreciated ... Thanks All
We have all had that question at one time or another...dont worry 
Place the factory, get the radial menu on it, then it is number 4 ( forget what it is called). Anyway there will be an option to load the schematic, select the schematic you want, hit "Use Schematic", get the radial again, hit 4 again, hit access ingrediant hopper, lod your ingrediants, and close the window. The ingrediants wont disappear intil you close the factory window. Get the radial menu again, and hit "Start Manufacturing items" and then wait for it...wait for it....when you get the email that it is done, or until you are ready to get the items, get, you guessed it, 4 again and get the output hopper...

Make sure you are using the correct factory for the schematic you have in your datapad.
There are 4 types of factories and if you don't have a schematic in your datapad that goes in to the factory you trying to operate, you will not get the options to install the schematic.
So what are you trying to make? What is your schematic of?
Thanks for the advise Droidtrainer but I’m still in trouble.......
Under the ‘Options’ menu, the only 2 selections I have are 1: Access Station Ingredients Hopper and 2: Access Station Output Hopper. The really weird part is under the section for ‘Station Management’ there is no selection to ‘Operate Machinery’.
Anyone have any advise that may help me? Thanks in advance for any suggestions....
