Thread: Changes to DE affecting Stations!!

I heard this was going to happen and made 3 schematics of DSCs before the patch. It pays to be prepared.
You sound like me I made 5 Schematics before patch. teehee
my guess would be that Droid Storage was mistakenly using Artisan skill arther than DE skill for the experimentation. We have similar issues in Architect where certain items can (could?) be experimented all the way even though only novice.
Might be a good idea to check if this has been fixed for architect as well. Can anybody remember what items it was that used Artisan tree skills instead of arch ? Then we need a novice arch who is willing to test for us, or maybe a Master Arch who is not Master Artisan ?
It was announced in the patch yesterday that the experimentation was erroneously being done in the artisan experimentation tree.
So that change was bound to happen.. it was a bug, afterall.
But the rest of the change is a new bug, in my opinion. It was originally listed as the quality of the droid storage compartment coming from 100% Overall Quality. Now it is 50% Conductivity and 50% Overall Quality.
Oops.. forgot the rest of my message.
So the problem with this change is that it has a DRASTIC affect on the architects who have been storing materials for making more droid storage compartments. These materials are now mostly useless, since they will grant a low rating on this Droid Storage Compartments unless the Conductivity is above 900 as well.
I am hoping they fix this soon.

I supposed I'd more interested in all this if we had any inkling at all what high quality crafting stations do.
I've seen the posts where people have run tests, with indications thatstations with high functionality only reduce critical failures (by a small amount). And even then, critical failures seem pretty random, sometimes very low and sometimes excruciatingly high.
Good point.
Instead of healping us where we beg to be helped, they change the basic component of HQ stations from OQ to OQ/COND. Sounds like the same ole dev team to me. Great communication guys. FIVE MONTHS DOWN THE DRAIN.
