write down the name of the particular resource u are mining with ur harvester. then every so often open up the particular survey tool for that resource if the name of the resource ur mining no longer appears there that means it has turned over and ur harvester has shut down. so its time to go change ur resources or pick up ur harvester. something obvious but people may not haev thought to do it. ....of course i would still like to see email notification when it runs out of power and/or maintenance as well. thanks

Actually it would be much cooler if we had a Data terminal that would let us register harvesters with it and we could check on mait costs and power and hopper. Even if it was just to check would be really cool. Or a droid that hangs out with our harvesters and pays mait and power.

It's probably something simple, but how do you link a harvester to your survey tool, like you suggest?

I think a e-mail notice would be nice too after all the factorys can send you e-mail why not a harvester?

They are supposed to be implementing a email for when harvesters run out of energy. Why they don't do this for harvesters that break down is a bit odd. Guess the game design doesn't allow this. I can't believe they didn't think of doing it if were actually easy to program.

I just name the waypoints for my havrs, example "Alum - Durekapoan" Saves me loosing a peice of paper.

Everytime I log on I check the survey tool incase I need to go pick one up.

You could always take screens of the survey tools. I can expand the window so that all the resources from one survey device can fit on one screen.
