Thread: Deep Crust Chem
Is the Deep Crust Chemical extractor the "Heavy" Chem mining unit? I've seen huge monsters that seem to take up more lots, but are those actually bigger than the relatively compact Deep Crust Chem harvesters?

Do all Heavy's only take up a 3x3 grid as opposed to the 3x5 on the mediums? If so, then I've got some upgrading to do.

There is one hellava difference is building a Heavy over a Medium.
Indentical walls and component. 7 walls for a miner 5 walls for a Reactor. I can build a PA Hall for what it takes for 2 heavy harvesters. Incidentally I failed on a Heavy Miner 30 minutes ago so I am still crying over it. /cry
I'm certainly sorry for your loss. I hate failing on dresses or infiltration suits, and that's 1/50th theresource cost in most cases. I guess I won't mention the price I'm buying Deep Crust Chemical extractors for if that's the case on what they cost to build.
I was wondering because the Deep Crust is not listed with the rest of the Heavy's when it comes to when you learn how to make them. The 3x3 lots sure are easy to work with compared to the mediums though.

Here's wishing myself luck =)
