Thread: Choosing a home.

I have several questions concerning my choice of home designs. Ideally, I'm hoping to get a large, but I'm willing to comprimise for better design.

I've seen a large generic, and didn't care for it much.

I've seen a large Tatooine, and I liked the interior design, but I don't like the adobe theme with tatooines.

I currently have a small Corellian. It sucks.

That leaves Nabooian homes. Here are a few questions I have concerning them.

1. I'm told that the Large Nabooian is 4 stories high? (don't know if I believe that)

2. I'm told there is more "open space" in naboo designs. Is this true and if not, how bad is it?

3. I'm pretty sure I can, but I'm wondering if I can build a Nabooian home on Corellia.

4. I'm told that Nabooian homes have nice internal and external balconies. If this is the case, can I place furniture on the outdoor balconies? (like plants and stuff)

5. I read a lot of posts that favor the Naboo medium. What would be your personal preference?

6. During my wanderings on Naboo during beta, I occasionally came across a "home" looking structure, that had a fenced in garden area. Do any of the Naboo designs offer this?

Thanks for any information you can give me. Keep up the good work architects. I can't wait to get my new house. I buy all the furniture I can find from any vendor I find, and my Small Corellian is bursting at the seams!

1. It is easy to lose track when you are running up and down so many staircases but I think it really is 4 stories.

2. They are open but I don't think more so than the rest - just in a different way.

3. I don't think you can.

4. Unfortunately, no. I have to rely on the terrain generator to put some nice flowers by my entryway.

5. The style Imade for myself was a Naboo medium. I like the round center room. If the main staircase room in the large were bigger and if the entry were more direct I would have been more likely to choose a large instead but the floor plan is tooboxed up- they need to open it up a bit.

6. I think those were probably NPC structures, but if I'm just ignorant and there's a way to make an outside garden, I want to know about it!

May the Force be with you Silani. Thank you for answering my questions. I have to find out about Naboo homes on Corellia. I'll move to Naboo if it's a choice between an ugly house and a nice one.

I have a Naboo Medium myself and even though I could build myself a large, I don't think I'd want it. The Naboo Medium is pretty nice and spacious enough for me!

Unfortunately Avocent, your choice is between a beautiful house on Naboo, or an overgrown cinder block on Corellia. It stinks, and I made the choice to stay in my cinder block on Corellia, but resource gathering expeditions to Naboo leave me feeling empty inside.

Same here, I can make large house but of all the house I have made, the medium Naboo is my favorite and the one I use for my home. It has a main floor, and upper with an outdoor balcony, and a cellar room. Although the Large homes have more room, the layouts or very contrived, no balance to them.

Thanks for all of your help everyone. Despite my desire to live in a beautiful home, it seems that I'll be joining the rest of my PA in our city of New Thantos, just Northwest of Coronet. Cinderblock here I come!
