OK, so I am building a mining business. I needed someone to make my heavy harvestors/power gens for me. Started talking to him, and asking him questions for my business partner, who was going to go down the architect tree to help us--so HE could build the power gens...

Then I realised how SCREWED up the pricing is for architects!!! A heavy harvestor takes somewhere around 27000 units of materials?!??! I bought mine for 90,000 credits! That is 3.3 credits per material! That is OBSCENELY cheap--and this from a MASTER architect, who is no longer in need of materials!

Compare this to Weaponsmiths... Who make, say, a high damage 2 handed curved sword.. Takes 54 units of material--just 54!! And, I've seen high damage ones go for 20,000 credits each!! That is 370 credits per unit of material!! And SO much easier to make--less time, less materials, MORE MONEY?

Does this make sense? No, and yes, I guess... Not everyone wants a house, but everyone wants the super weapon... I dunno, I just feel bad for architects that need 1.2 million units of something to become masters, and then cant sell their stuff for any profit once they get there... oh well.. GOOD LUCK GUYS!!

Houses, along with the bigger harvesters do take a lot of resources. I don't think this is necessarily broken either as houses are supposed to be special.

I do get a warm and fuzzy feeling when someone starts talking to me about wanting a house (usually either a medium or large these days as most have seen a small house and want ... more) and I give them an idea of the amount of resources needed to make it. You can hear their jaws hit the floor when they realize building houses isn't trivial.
