There is a major grief exploit out there that affects all artisans.

Right now it has only affected me a couple times in the past week, but today I log in and find that it becoming more rampant and had to deal with it nearly half a dozen times today.

My question to the community is:

Do I post the information now and hope the outcry will make the Devs move on the problem and hotfix immediately, or continue to be pissed off every time I get griefed by the @ssholes running around doing the exploit while I wait for the devs to fix it?

All of the above. Post it here, throw a CSR ticket in game, send an e-mail, get people pissed about it. The squeaky wheel gets the greese so to speak.

I found a moderatly powerful exploit and im so tempted to use it and cheat...what can I do?

Use it and my hope is that you get caught and banned. There is no need to exploit, it gains you nothing but dishonor.

Just like that you would wish me to be immeadietly banned, even though you dont know what the exploit is. Using a factory when it was bugged would be an exploit but im sure you didnt stop using it. Im not sure exactly how it works and im trying to duplicate it (not for my own gain currently). But what it does is let me put any item into a factory crate, making it identical.

Factories giving full xp wasn't an exploit, it was a bug. And yes I used my structure factory when it gave full xp, but not to level, but to make my identical factory items for high level deeds. I obtained my first 9 boxes in architecture without even use'n a factory, despite my knowing they still gave full xp.

But please, by all means use exploits so that I can laugh all day when your account is canceled.

An exploit simply gaining an advantage over other players, I will say i did use that exp bug to get exp, now that it is out of game im making structural modules by hand. Not much else to say really, still tempted to use it but i dont want to... bleh i hate choices.

You mean the factory XP bug that was fixed a little while ago?

Thats fixed but I found this one where it puts items into a factory crate making them identical.

Yeah DO NOT POST IT HERE, that will just make it about 15 times worse, then again if it becomes that bad the devs will HAVE to change it fast... Hmm how bad is it exactly?

I can bring your harvesting of resource to a complete stop at any time, and ANYONE can use this exploit against ANY crafter.
