Hello all,
I am but another soul who aspires to the architect life. I am 29000 crafting points from my Novice level (yes, I'm sure you remember that daunting task too) can anyone give a little advice on closing that crafting point gap quickly? Thanx

Not worth it, dont go for architecture unless you want some headaches, try droid engineer or bio engineer or something. Pass on by architect till things become actually stable.

No wonder you had headaches, ranged weapon barrels would take forever. The easiest way is to make bone armor chesplates and expirement it as much as you can. They give you about 700xp per piece when you use practice mode. And don't listen to everyone else, every profession is only as fun as you let it be. I am having a blast being an architect.

Best way is to make the highest resource using item that you can easily get the resources for and use practice mode. Power ups used to be the best way but they got fixed.

I made Travel Packs, good XP and you get a fair amount of UXP too if you can sell them, which usually isn't too hard.

Practice mode gives you 5% extra crafting XP, but you dont actually make the item.
So you get the item XP (plus 5%) without having to destroy or sell it.

You use the resources anyway though so unless you want to make nothing don't use it.

So would you all agree that Bone armor chest plates are the best way now? Thats how I got my xp.

They are way too 'fiddly'
Look for a high complexity simple recipe item imho
