with little results. I'm trying to figure out what each stat on a resource is used for. As in, an architect shouls find and use Steel with ____ because it enahnces the overall quality of the structure.

Do we need to worry about all the stats on any given resource? or are there a few specific ones to keep an eye on?

Perhaps, if anyone knows, someone could even break down each stat for me (us) and sight an example of what it is more usefull for?

I'm still fairly new to this profession and have been trying to get the highest quality materials into my structure crafting. Thanks for any help!

There isn't a single answer to your question. Each schematic requires different stats. Open your crafting tool, load a schematic and look at the window in the lower right-hand corner, the info you seek is there.

What Bump said. Also, I highly recommend swgcraft.com for finding what resources are available where.

Unit Toughness is a good one to look for. But honestly... unless you believe, as some do, that the quality of the resource reduces the architect's chance of failure, there is no point to using superior materials, all structures come out the same regardless of experimentation.

The logic is there that unit toughness improves quality of architectural creations. The only practical use of higher quality is that lowwest quality you can create is critica failure, so using the materials that will raise that quality will lower the chance that you get a failure.

Other than that, nothing. Nada. Zip. How can you tell a sheister architect? He says his buildings are higher quality than normal: cheaper to maintain, more storage space, etc.

I have yet had a wall fail using 10-20% experimented structure moduals, I've had 2 walls fail in a row with 4% unexperimented structure moduals, and a 3rd fail 1 wall after that. This made me a believer in experimenting on parts.

Back to topic - Yes, they're right, there is no real answer to your question, since it'son an itemto item basis. One resource could have 1's in every stat, and 999inthestat a schematic needs, and be really great for that item but crappy for everything else.
