Thread: How many items can you put in a house?

I had tried to drop an item in my house after the patch, but it complained that I had too many items. The house is a medium Naboo house if that makes any difference. I had not encountered this issue before the patch. I checked the status and it said I had 196 items (I am a crafter so I have alot of crates hanging around). I removed 70 items from the house, but it still said I had too many items. The house is not crowded and it seems silly that I can't put more in it. I can carry 110 items on my person, but it does look like I can store this amount in the house.

If someone knows the limit, please could you let me know? And if the limit is different for different size houses I would also be interested in such information.

To answer my own question. I saw on another thread that the answer is 75 x lot size, so small and medium houses are the same at 150 and that there may be a cap of 250 for large houses.

Sorry to waste a thread by not reading a little further, but you know how it can be.

Oh for the edit button. I also wanted to say that 150 for a medium house is too small. I would think that other players would like to see this increased and that if architects have a list of things they want changing that this limit being increased be on that list.

It looks like I'm on the market for another house. Heh.

I cant confirm the lot x 75 formula

My medium naboo (2 lots) with 99 items is still full

I also placed a new small naboo to try it out. I dropped a backpack with 16 items, one with 6. House is full.

this MUST be a bug

OK, here's what we are going to do in tomorrow's update:

You will get 75 items per lot, instead of 25, up to a max of 250 items per house.
No vendors nor their contents will count against the house limit.
Factory crates will count as 1 volume, not 5.
We realize this doesn't get you all the way back to where you were, but it should improve the situation. A fuller solution cannot be accomplished by the morning, which is why we're only going this far. We want to do as much as we can as quickly as we can.

There are other things that we can and will be doing, but they will take longer.

(Since I am sure someone will ask: why not just roll back the code? Because it was multiple integrations and changelists, and it'd be somewhat hairy. This is safer).

The limit for a medium house is too low. I am wondering if they realize that medium houses cost 2 lots. There are lots of little things like this they don realize. If a Small takes 2 and a Large is 6 then shouldnt a medium be at least 3? Three would make the items for mediums 225. I think the 250 limit is too low. Should be 300. So, 150 for small, 225 for Medium(at 3 lots) and 300 for large.

Crap. Forgot to say that the 75 per lot patch doesnt go up till tomorrow(Thursday). Currently it's 25 per lot and thats why we are having so many problems.
