Thread: Building ourselves out of a job, or creating a market which will be dependant on future additions?

I've seen a lot of people say that with every structure we sell, we're one structure closer to not having anyone to sell to. Maybe. But then again... what happens if, a month from now, SOE finally sees fit to implement architect experimentation? What if we can experiment with housing item capacity or lot usage? Or extraction rate of our mines?

Suddenly, it'll be like the first day all over again. Everyone that bought a structure will be wanting to replace it. All this worrying about selling ourselves out of a job will be over, at least for a while, because the slate will be wiped clean once again. So yes... we might be selling ourselves out of a job, but we're doing it so slowly, that the only way it will affect us is if the devs make no changes to our profession for the next year or two. It's not like tomorrow suddenly no one will want to buy anything.
