Ok, ok... I am not an Architect, but I do know some things. In the Star Wars Galaxies, they had light that immited from some source. If they did not, then all the Star Ships would be 100% pitch black. Because of this, I don't understand why my Free-Standing Lamp does not light up or have an On/Off switch. What is the purpose of a light if it does not give off light?

Devs, please add light to the lights... Thank you!

Almost 90% of the furniture is without function, except foe seats and stuff like that. I cant even place a table-top lamp on the tables top, it just fells to the ground.

So how about adding some function to the rest of the furniture, like:

Armoire, Bookcase, Chest and stuff like that adds more space to the house, so I can place more stuff in it.

The main purpose of lamps is light up something. How about adding this function to it?

There is this beautiful loveseat that comes with furniture3. Why not sit on it, they it is supposed to sit on it? Same goes for all beds.

What is the function of a large couch, when I still can sit on it only with one person?

Here is my favorite one. What kind of data do the data-terminals need, to become usefull. Currently, the only reason to get a data-terminal is to use up limited space inside the house.

What can I make with a "Use Bank" option on the Ballot Box Terminals?

Okay the last one, although it is not a furniture. But has to do with houses as well. Why did you nerf backpacks used inside a house? So after every newbie gets a backpack, all backpack carfters are out of buisness. Since I wont need one inside my house, except for only gather items in it, to not let it stay arround in the house.

My table-top lamp is on a table. And I have a pyramid of locked containers, and also weapons on my walls.

Just need a staircase in the room you want to place the items.

Here's our only light source:

Torches

Now, what can you do with Torches?

  1. Place them by themselves.

  2. Drop them along with a Free Standing Lamp in the same place.

  3. Drop them along with a plant (shows the plant on fire, it's pretty cool).

  4. Drop some armor, a dress, or other clothing along with the torch.

  5. Drop the torch in the middle of a table.

  6. Drop the torch with a locked/unlocked container.

Any other ideas?

I can tell you why the free standing lamps don't emit light... If you check the schematic for them... they have NO electronics module! They are all metal, no wonder the silly things dont work. /lol

Haven't figured out why torches need an electronics gp module... guess the flame is generated bythe polymer heating up in them then catching the... um... metal shavings on fire... yea thats the ticket.

Im betting all lamps could emit light if they only had electronics in their schematic...

If you have a vendor, try moving the torch under it... nothing like a flaming wookiee togive your home that oh...so lovely burnt hair smell.
