I was thinking that maybe us architects could be able to design our own houses and sell them by Sq foot .. or sumthing like that.. i dunno u guys will have to help me on that.. but wouldnt that be awsome to know that there isnt another house in the game like the one your making!

The current system isn't modular like that. I don't know databases, but adding another 100,000 (to account for variety) object types seems problematic.

Yeah it seems like it could be very complicated, but i am not a developer at all. Especially since the outside of the houses would look funny. Maybe a more reasonable solution would be allowing us to place walls inside the houses, even though this may be difficult as well (to form a wall that you can't walk through).
I would be happy for colored furniture and paint jobs for houses to give them a little variety though

ya i just thought it would be cool for every1 to have their own house... to be unique.. but it means it would add hours and hours of updates and time for the devs to make it happen... it was just a thought.... lol but ya just sumhow make each house unique

I think any cusomization of houses would be a wonderful addition. Unfortunately I don't think we are a large enough profession to get that kind of attention. It would be a grand endevor!
