My alt is a Master Architect, and I need to factory-produce a crate of 6 identical Power Core Units. Once I've created a schematic for the power core unit, can anybody tell me if the subcomponents that I put into the factory (Energy Distributors, Power Conditioners, and Generator Turbines) need to be identical (i.e., do I need a factory crate of each of those three components, or can they be loose components with different serial numbers)?

The subcomponents required are 1 generator turbine, 1 power conditioner, and 1 energy distributor. They don't have to be from a factory crate.

Yes they do
I'm not sure which sentence you were repying to here, but I presume you meant that the components do need to be identical, from a factory crate. So now I unfortunately have two opposing answers to my question.

Lets say I want to make 50 Power Cores Units , and I make a manafacturing schem for them I need 50 Identical Generator turbines, 50 Power Conditioners etc, all the same Serial code as the one I used to make the schematic.

I actually need 6 generator turbines, 6 power conditioners, and 6 energy distributors, to do what I was trying to explain (in a single factory run). Just so I am clear on this, these can be all different serial numbers in the ingredients hopper of my factory?
