70k isn't a rip off, but since you have holo grinders unloading cheap stuff, and a house is a house, the market price is much lower. Why serious architects only do the experimental items like harvesters or crafting stations. Housing I'll only do for my own city. Otherwise I have a nice stock pile of good harvester metals and ore that I can get much better p/u ratios on. When quality maters, price goes up, and people only want the best. Why a 10 BER sales for twice that of a 9BER.

35k

But since there are ber 10's available the demand for the ber 9's aint going to be high, i just have them on there in case my vendor runs out of 10's, i don't expect them to sell. I've even got some ber 11 heavy's on there, again i don't expect them to sell Just couldn't bring myself to destory them

Pricing is hard, whats overpriced to one person, isn't to another. 30k if a fair price for the amount of work and experimentation heartache that goes in to making them.

Depends how long you had them on the vendor, i can go days without selling any, then a few come along, all at once it seems and the lot go ! The nature of having a shop i guess

I have a bunch (> 25) on my vendor for 20k. And they have been there for a looong time, since the patch where they fixed experimentation, and I sell one every week, if that.

My vendors get a lot of business, so its not like people are not seeing them, they just dont want them.

I sell out of heavies as soon as they are on the vendor, or before, but I can't get rid of the medium BER 9s for the life of me.

I'm not making any more.

I agree on 70k for a house.

I charge 30k for medium minerals, and 20k for 9s (I use a schematic and get very few 9s). These cost us 3500 resources, at 70-90k you might make some money now, but people are going to realize they are being ripped off eventually. At 30k you're getting nearly 9 cpu for stuff you can buy for 2cpu (3 tops).

I presume then if any of you ever buy armour or weapons you feel you are being TOTALLY ripped off at the prices being charged ?

The simple fact is, if someone buys a medium 9 at 70k or 10 at 90k they will have sold enough resources in 4 days (assuming 3 cpr, 75% ish) to breakeven and for ever and ever more they roll in the cash for them.

Also not every resource going into these is a 2 cpu resource (actually this is bargain basement and rare on my server). I use a steel on my server thats sells at 15 cpu !

And you tell me I am ripping people off with resources going at those prices....yeah rite.

You sell your stuff cheap and make a small amount of money... I will continue to service my customer needs to their exact requirements and they will continue to be happy to pay a premium for my services.
