Well. I am a member of a PA and some other members who dont use many lots have kindly donated their lots for use of factories for the crafters of the PA. Well every time I craft something using the factory, the items always coem out as the factory owner and not the schimatic creator. Does anyone else feel this is wrong? I think it would kind of slow down my business if people see that the "creator" of the object is just the person who placed the factory.

Do the parts work? Parts is parts.

the parts work but im making furniture, so its just 1 thing. i guess it dont matter too much cuz my name is in the name of the object.

Ah, I didn't realize it was a finished product like furniture, that could drive future sales. Yeah, personally, I'd try to find a different way to get it done. Or try to push having it changed to the creator of the schematic / person who starts up the crafting machine, whose name gets put on the finished good. That kind of sucks.

Simple answer...put your factories on your lots and harvs on friends' lots.

I personally don't like items that include "by SomeShmo" in the text title.

You mean people actually read the descriptions of an item and notice who made them ??

Nope I don't think so.. only crafters might. People buy off vendors providing good stocks of high quality items at good prices. It is the level of vendor sotck that determines repeat business, not whether an item was made by X or Y.

You don't want your harvs on other peoples lots because it means they have to run around picking them up and putting them down for you. Which after a few weeks they might get a bit sick of !
