How do you place items on top of tables, like lamps or other items. I read in the FAQ that you can place things on walls by being on stairs when you place them, is this also how how put tings on tables.

Yes you use the same method to place things on tables. Drop it n the stairs and "push" it around using /move forward x, /move back x.
It's a pain, but does get easier with practice

Hire a proficient Interior Designer.
I can fully decorate (craft all the cutom furniture AND place everything) a large house in three evenings (2-3hours) or less

Has anyone had any word if they are going to fix this and the wall issue? Because I think they should allow for us to move objects up and down as well as forwards backwards. You should be able to place things on tables or at suitable height on walls in any buildings not just Naboo/Tat medium houses or any large house.

They have said that they are adding an up/down command in patch 7.

Neat... hmm wonder if we'll be able to use crafting station if we put it on the ceiling?
