I understand that prices vary server to server, planet to planet, and even city to city, however I'd just like some suggestions on pricing. I am a 3-3-4-3 architect on Tatooine and Dantooine on the Lowca server. My biggest problem right now is figuring out prices for harvesters. I generally charge about 3 credits per unit for items like houses and furniture. However, applying that rule to harvesters means I could be selling a 9BER mineral miner for 10k. Obviously that's not right. I've looked and asked around and for some reason there are not of a ton of architects out there. Generally, what do you guys think is a good pricing scheme for harvesters (namely mediums and larges)? Also what's the price fluctuation on BER? Should a 5 BER harvester be half as much as much as a9 BER? Thanks.

First of all I'd recommend you see the item in the FAQ about pricing. It has good advice from Zen.
You said that there dont' seem to be many architects around. Well I'd infer from that that the supply is not too high which means you could probably charge higher prices.
Here's a thread from Bria trade galaxy with the shops of 2 other architects:

You might check their shop to see what their prices are or just talk to them directly. Many folks are fairly friendly about competition if there isn't too much competition.
You could also just pick a numbers out of the air. That seems to work well enough for most folks. If it doesn't sell than lower prices and if it sells too fast then raise prices.
You asked specifically if a BER 5 should be half the cost of a BER 9. Generally though, you can get more for the BER 10 and BER 13 than anything else. Those ought to fetch a premium if your economy isn't hosed. The very low BER models will probably have to be discounted even to the point of selling below material costs. Most people won't want to pay much at all for a BER 5 medium if they can get a BER 4 personal real cheap. Similarly a BER 9 heavy is pretty worthless cause BER 10 mediums can usually be had for cheap compared to heavies.
Bear in mind that if you ask for a price list than one guy will say 20k and not a creditmore and then another will say 100k at least or you're insane and then they'll just argue with each other...
