how do I let other people access my belongings in my house? I added the person to my admin list and he still cant pick up my dropped items. Why not?

Yes it does sound like he ended up giving you just hopper access. Probably a slip while selecting between admin and hopper. I think they're on the same little radial selector thingie. Hate them funky radials.

Alright, well being a novice architect, I set myself out to place some harvesters and factories. I have my 10 lots filled with harvesters and one house, and my friend his hosting 2 structure factories for me, and he gave me admin powers. I was under the impression that with admin controls, you could do ANYTHING with the structure. All I can do is go Structure Options > All that schematic stuff, but I can't click any of the three things. Did he do something wrong? Perhaps only give me hopper access? With full admin access, can you use the structure as if it were your own? As in input / output hopper, schematic input, deposite power / mainitnance, etc?
Heh one more thing... is it the same for harvesters too? (as asked / described above).

You should be able to do everything except rename it and destroy it.

Ya, sounds like you just got hopper access. I rarely use the radial for giving access permissions... the slash commands work quicker for me, and less change of mis-clicking the wrong radial command.
/setperm admin TheirName (short for /setpermission admin)
not sure if there's a /setperm hopper, never really needed to just give someone hopper access... figure if they're poking around the thing, they might as well have full access since they can't really rename or destroy the thing anyways.
also /setperm entry name for housing permissions too (just fyi)
