Thread: The simplest lot swapping solution

I heard tales of increasing the lots from 10 to 15 but make it per account, not per character. This would give us all more lots but remove server lot trades. I personally like that idea the most. I would however very much like to see factory time increased greatly for this to work. Most heavy crafters have between 5-10 factories. A factory should be quicker at making things than a person using a toolkit. That's why it's called "MASS"production. As it is right now a person with 4 toolkits can craft about 10 times faster than a single factory. This is just wrong in my mind, allthough I'm sure alot of people will disagree. I would like to see factory times increased 5-10 fold.

I would also like to see all factory made subcomponents coming out in a crate of 1000, as well as increased lot sizes for resources. This would reduce the need for small houses being used as warehouses.

If all of the above were done then you would see a huge reduction in the ammount of factories, harvesters and small houses all over the place. It would save database space and greatly reduce lag. Plus it's probably the most simple and least time consuming way to fix this whole mess.


Ps. Item limits per lot should be 75 in ALL houses. This too would reduce the need for "warehouses".

This has been brought up many times before on this forum, but it's still a very valid concern... If house storage limits are raised andfactory crate sizes increased, it would definitely aleviate some of the concerns you brought up.


I'd also like to see factory times increased a bit... not to mention structure factories reduced from 2 lots down to 1 like the rest.

The reason most people are lot trading is to gain storage, and the other reason is to control more harvesters. But, the devs don't consider "lot trading" to be a cross server thing only. I have a factory I want gone outside my shop that was placed there by a friend for me to use. He has since quit the game but played on the same server. When Icreated a ticket to see if a CSR could remove it, they responded that they don't get fix problems that involve lot trading. So, in other words, to that CSR, lot trading is when you are able to exceed the 10 lot limit placed by the devs. But, I have a simple question.... What the hell good is the admin list when every time your placed in one, yourconsidered a lot trader????????


If they place an account lot limit, I may just quit the game because I play on other servers and value my lots there. If they remove the admin list I may just quit the game cause I have 4 accounts that help each other out in this way. When I purchased this game I fully understood I could create 8 toons on different servers, each of those 8 toons had 10 lots, and in each of those 10 lots youwere able to add people to the admin list. To tell me the devs didn't see this comingwould bevery ignorant. They knew, trust me, they knew....

Yeah, this is insane. Not to mention the fact that Architect uses the most resources of all crafters, which we have to store somewhere too... And I don't even want to get started on the non-crated Ore Mining Units. But I guess this has been brought up a gazillion times already...

When I purchased this game I fully understood I could create 8 toons on different servers, each of those 8 toons had 10 lots, and in each of those 10 lots.

Exactly. I use my lots legitimately on several servers. For me it would be over an 80% reduction in lot space. Doing this would literally force me to lot trade or rent... or just leave.
