Thread: Architects need a new building -- WAREHOUSE

ok, enough is enough. i'm sick of having to put down medium houses for a measily 150 storage space. architects seriously need to be able to create some sort of warehouse which would let you store many more items. it does not need to be pretty, it does not need to be elaborate, it just needs to have a large space for storage... perhaps anything you drop in a warehouse would shrink visually so it doesn't take up as much space on the screen.

just a suggestion to help eliminate all the stupid storage houses and storage vendors.

Have we not repeatedly been saying this since Aug 2003?

dunno, first time i've visited the forum since i got fed up today.

also, i'm not sure if this is already a part of the game but there needs to be some way of redeeding a house with all the items in it so we can move planets easily. maybe the deed will fill up your entire inventory and backpack (regardless of how many items you are carrying) to avoid abuse.

there's been tons of threads asking for this... it's probably one of our top 5 that our correspondant has... let's just hope that we have some new stuff coming soon on the horizon and a warehouse is on that list...

There are a lot of little things I'd love to see changed about our profession , but having a warehouse building I admit is definatley the most needed. there is a high demand for storage and we can't provide a viable solutuon other than small and med houses.

...I think the warehouse problem can be history with one of two solutions...How about a house addition that can be created by Architects only...maybe consideration to Master Artisans...this room has an additional storage capablility...the other...I use now...My place has a dozen crafting stations that hold 100 items in the hoppers...been doing that for a long while and it helps categorize all my resources also...You can even put resources in a hopper you use for certain constantly crafted (non-factory) items...just a thought....

I am still for my other idea ofthat architects gain a schematic enabling them to build directly into each home they build, a "Storage Locker". Said locker would hold say, 200 items, or what have you. No items inside the locker would ever count against the items limits of the house, and the locker itself would not count as an item, simply as a built in part of the house.

i really really like this idea. hopefully whatever device ends up being used for storage will organize the items for us. i'm surprised that we still can not move items around in our inventories... i couldhave sworn that was an issue from beta.

Yes factories work, but we need a building that is made to store item. You know how funny it is to see a field of 5 factories called (Insert name here)'s Loot, thats just not right. A factory is for making things not storing them.
