A couple of days ago I made my way to Aurilia for the first time. Upon arriving I immediately converted all my spare XP, including my capped 240k of structure crafting XP. Due to the conversion ratio this left 5 structure crafting XP. Fast forward a day and I'm sitting crafting some droids and sampling and decide to check how my survey XP is going. As I do i suddenly notice that my structure XP is sixty-something. I decide I must have miscalculated when converting because I know I haven't crafted any architect items recently.
Next day I look and it's 128. OK I think, maybe I misread it last time. I few hours later it's 138. Suspicious, but I still can't shake the nagging feeling that it's just me mis-reading the numbers. So I go out and check my mining installations. When I finish I check my XP again - 141. Definitely climbing. I head into Dearic and spend three quarters of an hour crafting droids - still 141. I head back to my shop (a building I crafted that is owned by someone else) - still 141 as I stand outside, but I step inside and a couple of minutes later - 150.
It certainly looks to me as if I'm getting very small amounts of usage XP from my structures. Has anyone else seen anything like this?

Were you standing near your factories? Cause they give 10% XP of the item they're currently manufacturing when you're standing near them.

At one time, there definitely was a usage xp and I suspect you are right in that it probably exists in some form now.

I'm sure they left usage xp in and just forgot about it... it just got balanced into non-existance and really isn't a practical way of gaining any xp... what I'd really like to see is usage credit kick backs to architects.... like 1% of maintenance on houses we built gets dumped back to us once a week... that would revolutionize architecture if we got residual income off the "lastsforever" housing that we've produced over the last year. I still have the first large house I ever built, would be nice if I got income off the maintenance people pay on all the stuctures I've built them over the last 14 months.

I noticed this when I was making statues in practice. Every night when I got of the next day id have like 10-15k more experience than when I stopped. I also thought it mustve been the old structure usage XP
O Ya, on the factory giving xp. Im pretty sure they took that out, but I could be mistaken.

I found that no matter how much time I sat on top of my factory, I did not receive any experience (even the quoted 10%).
