Ok Iposted something similar in the politcion forum but...
What is everyone's opinion on the massive walls of houses that one encounters traveling out in the field. I've gotten trapped in one on tatoonie, the structure was intentionaly made to be an impenetrable barrierexcept for a small gap at one end.

As long as they pay me decent money for the house, they can put it anywhere they want.

If you believe that they are exploiting or using them in an improper way, then /report it.

Yes, the CSRs have removed structures before if they think people are exploiting terrain, but the only example I know of is faction bases.

Ya, biggest problem with these was people would make huge walls around a faction base complex to make only one entrance. It can work at times, but if the wall involves a corner, you can almost always get through the corner if you come at an angle to one of the houses.

So is this normal, legal pvp gameplay or is it really considered exploitive?

I think I remember the devs saying once that it's only an exploit if it's blocking access to"game content" or being used as a barrier like the example above defending a faction base.
If it's just normal city design I don't believe they have a problem with it. It's just inconvenient.
In fact, I've heard of cities that have designated areas like this in them that they use for PvP arenas.

Aurora has such an area. It is designated as our Base Defensive Wall. We have a bank, a cloner and bases (when we have them) in this area. The rest of the city is wide open and accessible while this area has only one entrance through a long corridor that is usually mined when we have bases placed. This is not considered an exploit so long as we leave the corridor open for players to access the internal areas. Prior to building this area I queried the CSR's as to its validity and they supported it as a legal tactic.
