Thread: What to do once you are a Master Architect?

Well, I made Novice Architect yesterday after much grinding, and I made the decision that I'm not going to level grind anymore. I'm just sick of it after crafting Scopes, Couplers and Axes for days on end to reach a level that I'm not sure I even want to be at any more. For now, I'm going to concentrate on gaining business in my galaxy, makinga name for myself, and constructing quality structures. Now for the hard question:

Once you reach Master Architect, what are you going to do? The missions in this game aren't fun to me. The NPC's aren't really worth talking to or interacting with....so then what? This isn't a troll question and I'm not looking to get flamed, but seriously...my whole gaming experience and that of many others up to this point has been power levelling my character to an "Elite" Profession. I really do like this game and I see a lot of potential, I just don't understand and can't see what's going to keep me here once I reach Master Architect. Go through the whole process of grinding again and get to Bounty Hunter or Teras Kasi Master? Then what?

You are supposed to be learning a profession so that you can BE that profession. The goal of this game is not to 'hit master whatever', it is to become that person and practice the trade.

Pretty simple concept really, why it escapes so many people is beyond me.

If you don't like dealing with lots of customers, travelling, selling, networking then Architect is not the profession for you.

I was woundering the same thing until I realized that we will need 1,408,000 XP to be able to attain Master Architect. I also obtained Novice yesterday. An dI also grinded to get through Master Artisan. No more grinding for me, what fun was that? That seems like a lots of crafting to get there.

Just some ideas off the top of my head. You could try another profession while you keep Master Architect. Like Tailoring or Pistoleer. You could start to hang out at the cantina and network with characters. You could travel to other cities and set up shop as well as other planets.

Personally, I am going to help new players and try my hand at marksman and scouting. Of course, this could be a long way off (1.4 million XP).

You can do whatever you want in this game, there really is no end-game, no final quest to win. Just enjoy and meet other people that share you love of the Star Wars universe.
