So it looks like they only want new stuff that hasn't been and won't be published anywhere else.
Guessif someone has an existing guide then theycould take paraphrase / rewrite it and then submit it to them. Might be worth $50 if they accept it.
Or maybe we could just post Paypal donation links along with guides posted here and as for $0.10 or $0.25 donations. ![]()
OK well I won't argue with you there. ![]()
A thorough and up to date manual no the basic functions of the game would be a good thing.

SWGcenter would like to support all you guide writers out there! We’ve seen pieces of work the player base has done to help the community with some amazing guides and F.A.Q’s. Helping your fellow peers is something that shouldn’t go with out reward, so SWGcenter has offered to pay a minimum $50 dollars for every guide submitted. If we feel the guide is exceptionally written, you may earn even more. Take a look at the requirements and regulations for the submissions Article Submission Page. If writing guides is your thing, then make sure you check out this rare opportunity!
I'm assuming they say $50 if it is accepted not for every guide submitted. Because otherwise I am going to submit about 1000 guides that are about 10 words long each

Yes I spotted that, and whilst it would be a nice 'bonus' to get paid for writing a guide, I for one will not be either rewriting what I have posted on this site, nor will I stop writing here to post new guides on their site. BUT you can be sure I will be checking it out for any signs of plagiarism, as I am sureothers will. So be warned anybody who wants to 'borrow' directly from this forum
Its not SOE paying for the guides its a 3rd party website that has a premium section that they want to put the content in.
It would be pretty weird if SOE payed us to write their documentation though. Acutally if you saw their Friday feature on skill tapes, that wouldn't be a bad idea for them. Maybe then they'd get accurate guides.
My mistake. However,I find it ironic that a 3rd party is paying players to document SOE's product. ![]()
