I have had bad news. Today, I logged on to find the Ympresive Industries store, with thousands of Deeds, Items, Weapons, rare resources gone. Maintenence as of 3/5/04, was paid for 219 days, but my ticket was answered "If your maintenence was not up to date, your house will be removed. There is no way to verify your loss, or to compensate you for items lost on vendors that are not in game."

I cannot recover from such a loss, and Ympresive Industries is history. I cancelled all accounts this evening. Thanks for your buisness. Stay safe, have fun, and I'll see you on the other side.

If you really want to quit, then that's your choice. But I have found that sometimes I've had to update my tickets 2 or 3 times to get them to really pay attention. All too often they don't seem to even read the ticket and just cut&paste some FAQ items. I know people who have had their entire house go "poof" and others who have had the house stay but all the items inside "poof" and who have gotten all of their stuff back.

I almost quit today because of this happening to me (excempt it was my factory) It have at least 130 walls, and 100 small structure modualls in t. But I found the aspects of the game that I like and I continued. Also, they should make it so that all people on admin get the e-mails. I had a lot swap, so I didn't get the messages

Sorry to hear this Ympresive.

They really need to do something about houses disappearing like this. I've heard of too many incidents.

I'm sure theyhave the ability to determine what was in your house.

They are just too lazy to do it.

Every time they do a server update they should back them up- or do a backup while the game is running at night, but not sure. Anyways, this means somewhere they have to have a backup of the previous days data- they may just do this once a week so even then they would have on average 2-3 day old data. So - all they would have to do is go look at it and get the information. Of course all this takes 'too much' time for them. I figure they would rather lose paying customers than pay someone the hourly wage to track down this information.
