Cheap ore in big piles.
Steel with UT, SR & HR above 900 average. use (UT + UT + SR + HR)/4 > 900
from time to time you can get 2 cpu if you throw ten harvs on a new spawn of lube oil. it's valuable to us in large quantities as we can then make schematics out of it and not worry about needing any for a while. would mine that every once in a while. where you can get 3 cpu is for high ut/sr/hr steel (typically duralloy), looking for all 3 stats above 950 minimum. Then high ut/sr/hr extrusive or intrusive ore. There's an intrusive ore that spawned yesterday on Naritus with 995 ut, 995 sr, and 960+ hr. that would probably get you 5 cpu if you held it for a month. don't see an ore topping that anytime soon. if you see something like that pop, throw everything you got on it. your best bet though is probably mining for other professions, looking for high quality spawns and then when there's nothing great out there you can always fall back on ore.
i'd just go around finding out what all the crafters are looking for so you recognize it when something good pops.
In addition to cheap ore and high HR/SR/UT steel we need the following:
high HR/SR/UT iron - can be used as substitute for steel in some cases
grinding metals of any sort
Aluminium - any quality
Copper - anny quality
Carbonate Ore - any quality
Reactive Gas - any quality
Lube Oil or Liquid Petchem - any quality WITHOUT HR/SR/UT
Inert Gas - small quantities
High HR/SR/UT ore - any type
That's probably about it for structures, we also need stuff like Wooly hide and other hides for furniture, somebody else can answer on that side as I rarely make furniture unless I get a request.
