I tried to build my first Fusion Power today and ran into a problem; after crafting all the individual components I proceeded to the final step to assemble everything. When I tried putting the parts into the slots it would accept the first one into a slot but rejected all the other similar parts saying they were "bad". For example, all the storage units were made from the same ores but only the first one would be accepted, the rest refused. This happened with all the crafted parts except for the wall modules that required more than one of each.
Anyone have a clue as to what I'm doing wrong??

Yep. When you look at the schematic, there will be slots where it says something like "4 identical small structure storage modules". The key there is the word *identical*. That means that you MUST run that component off in a factory.

exactly what the man says.
A small clarification, the control is in the serial number, so that is what must match, not so important when making single fusions as you ought to know now that they need to be from a factory run, but if/when you start making fusions in bulk through a factory you will need to have all of your components with the same number and the same as the one in the schematic you make. i.e. you cannot mix and match in batches of 3 gen turbines if you get my drift.

Think of it this way, when crafting things with just the tool, you're doing things by hand and the parts fit that item very well... try to mix them with parts from another crafting item and they won't fit exactly right...
Factories insure that every part meets specifications in length, width, height... large machines require tight percision, one mm off can throw the whole design.
